Fallon, originally from Esperance in Western Australia, was a seasonaire at Big White Ski Resort before moving to Whistler and working as the salon/spa manager at Be Beauty. Whistler. Which is where she met Hayden – who is originally from Dorset in the UK and works at the Four Seasons Hotel.
With breathtaking panoramic views of the coastal mountain range, the Stawamus Chief, and Howe Sound, the Sea to Sky Gondola is an unbeatable wedding venue. The venue was so hospitable providing the wedding party with snowshoes and showing the most incredible spots to photograph.
A favourite feature at the gondola is the 100m long Sky Pilot Suspension Bridge. The bridge offers amazing 360 degree views of the area, both up to the high alpine of the mountains above and down to the fjord below.
Helen Sarah Photography wrote about this shoot: “We were fortunate that the bridge was not busy so we could photograph the entire spectacle and the breathtaking landscape below. After exploring the bridge and its surroundings, we took our bride and groom on the Panorama Trail. The 1.6 km long loop trail takes you through coastal forest, Alaskan Blueberry bushes and granite outcroppings. The walk was dreamlike; snow was melting off the trees as light peaked through the cedars falling on Fal and Hayden flawlessly. Their hilarious smiles and infectious banter made everything wonderful.
Halfway through the trail is the Chief Overlook Platform: a cantilevered deck that juts out over a sheer drop and offers majestic views of the ocean and surrounding mountains.
This was an unreal day; we were surrounded by so much energy and natural beauty. We are sure these two have an exciting future ahead of them.”
