Bridal Butterflies and Poppies tell the most beautiful wedding story in this palette design by Anzhelika Gekkelman, This editorial shoot showcases our beautiful West Coast in the summer among the breathtaking lavender fields. A collaboration with local talented vendors who brought a dreamy vision to life.
The muted orange of the poppies and butterflies run throughout the flowers and details to compliment the majestic fields of lavender at the Tuscan Farm Gardens in Abbotsford. The dress from LuxxNova Bridal was not a traditional white but a combination of soft grey, lavender, and white tulle layers. A beautiful beaded white butterfly at the front of the dress ties in to the other butterflies scattered on the decor and the bride herself. It seems even the cat is destined to match the natural colours around her!
The Victoria garden provides plenty of ways to capture heart fluttering moments with lots of movement and elegant posing. Da Fiori Design did a magnificent job of creating just the right floral bouquets and center pieces to bring even more magic to the location and Jenny from Mink Makeup and Hair knew just the right touches. The model, Katerina, was perfection with her pale complexion, whimsically beautiful features, and soft elegant movements.
We especially love the white plates, paper suite and bridal veil – all luxurious touches that complement the vision. Bridal Butterflies and Poppies is an ethereal fairy tale that will hopefully be an inspiration to all the whimsical brides in the West Coast!
