Scottish Spirit Wedding Inspiration on Vancouver Island – a romantic styled elopement at Bird’s Eye Cove Farm. This inspo features a traditional, yet modern take on the kilt and jacket for the groom and an off the shoulder wedding gown for the Bride.  The couple, models Mike and Julie, featured in a hand tie ceremony on the hillside followed by a romantic dinner for two in the field.

Let’s first talk jewelery. These rings are custom designs by Emma Glover Design. The bride’s, Celestial Peak, features yellow gold and diamonds. The groom’s, Unearthed Wedding Band, is all yellow gold. We love that local talent was used at this shoot right down to the last details.

There were so many pretty and yummy things were on this dessert cart starting with the whisky infused chocolate ganache cake and finishing with lemon tarts and cupcakes! Of course, signature cocktails were featured and you can find the recipes for these at the end of this blog.

Signature Cocktails at Bird's Eye Cove Farm Vancouver Island by Three Sisters PhotographyThe bouquet, boutonniere and paper suite all show off the thistle, which is Scotland’s official flower. The groom, naturally, was the most Scottish with his kilt, socks and jacket. Not to be outdone, however, was the bride who was a bonny lass in her beautiful lace bodice gown. The floral design of peach roses, white anemone and blue thistle was gorgeous and reflected the colour and theme perfectly.
