UBC Rose Garden Wedding for Eudorah and James’ wedding! What a lovely way for this couple to celebrate their vows. Sage Bistro is a perfect representation of the two of them: charming, elegant, bright, and spirited. As two very outdoorsy and adventurous people, these two decided to use the natural beauty of the Rose Garden as their inspiration. 
The late summer ceremony took place just in time to capture the beautiful crimson blooms in the garden. The natural floral was just the backdrop for all the colour of the bridesmaid gowns and the bouquets. The bride wore a unique form fitting gown with a long sash tying behind the neck and trailing down her back. The couple’s friends shone in blush rose gowns with lush bouquets and fitted tuxes with bow ties. The adorable flower girl and ring bearer held hands tightly down the aisle providing everyone with an ‘awww’ moment. We admit, however, that we think the best part of the wedding party is the formal wearing dog! 
For the reception, the outdoors was brought in with the use of natural elements and rustic touches. The evening showcased bronze geometric terrariums, white flowers amidst green moss, lush greenery, faerie lights and hand cut wood slices. The space was lit up by Edison bulbs strung across the ceilings. A naked cake finished with white flowers and greenery featured an amusing cake cutting.
However, the most important part of the reception was the toasting, love, laughter and dancing energy everyone experienced. It’s impressive to see the unusual amount of talent at this wedding! 
UBC Rose Garden Wedding and Reception at Sage provided the dream wedding feel that Eudorah + James were looking to create. A romantic nature-themed inspiration for West Coast Wedding couples.
