Beautiful Crown Isle love story! This Comox Valley wedding was filled with fun – children, outdoor lawn games, chocolate fountains, homegrown advice for the newlyweds and a rather epic bouquet toss! There was also tearful moments and loving emotion as David & Tina tied the knot under the roof of the gazebo at Crown Isle Resort.
Tina kindly shared with us some of the highlights of their wedding day:
“One of the best moments for me personally was walking down the aisle. David had said he would never cry but as I came closer to him I could see that, sure enough, there were some tears! We had a wonderful time in the morning as all of the wedding party got ready at Crown Isle – even the little ones. We really enjoyed being able to have children in our wedding party who were very connected to us and they really added to the day.”
“It was important to us that our guests enjoy our wedding. I had attended many weddings in my life where I was bored…so when one of our oldest guests came up to tell us about how many weddings he had attended in his life and this one was the best…I was overjoyed! It was very meaningful to us to have our friends and family with us and that they would be entertained and enjoy themselves.”
David & Tina are from Alberta and so this gorgeous destination wedding had to be arranged from another province. Tina had lots of good things to say about vendors who went above and beyond though she admits she had to get some help to bring it all together at the end. “I just needed another pair of hands and that is where Olivia (Lavish Engagements) came in.” Congrats to David & Tina and their families on the lovely day they were able to spend together making memories. What a wonderful Crown Isle Love Story!
