Dreams of Lavender in the Summer Sun inspired us to place this in the 2020 Vancouver issue of the West Coast Weddings Magazine. The lovely bride in her pale pastel gown is the picture of natural beauty amidst a field of lavender. The beautiful surroundings showcase gorgeous floral and decor in light and dark purples.
In dreams of lavender fields,
Dancing in the summer sun,

Let’s first talk about the beautiful, flowing pastel coloured gown. We love the bridal feel without white! The simplicity is the perfect foil to the detailed decor on the wedding table and the sleeves are a work of art. The natural makeup showcases the bride’s beauty and that of the scenery around her. Hair was also kept minimal though classic with the chignon type braid.
Amidst all the purple lavender is a floral bedecked table are perfectly complemented desserts. Tall candlesticks and table settings welcome the bride to seat herself on one of the wing back taupe chairs. White peonies, pale roses, lavender and greenery present a floral picture across the table and in the bride’s bouquet. We can practically swoon at the floral scent at this inspiration shoot!
The inspiration for the libations and desserts are obviously drawn from the lavender colour palette with blueberries and blackberries embellishments. Desserts sit on white cake plates and lavender is strewn across.
We love this whole inspiration palette – certainly gives us dreams of lavender in the summer sun!
