Lace & Lavender Wedding Dreams! Bright blue skies and rolling purple fields created the perfect backdrop for the ‘Lavender Dreams’ styled shoot. Beautifully captured, and meticulously planned, this look was inspired by the grandeur of stunning landscapes, flowing gowns, and vintage Hollywood glamour.
The idea of a luxurious dress came to life with this stunning gown and cathedral veil that floated on air. Delicate, handcrafted Amethyst and Gold jewelry with bold hair and makeup completed the bridal look. Lace and lavender are a perfect match for this bride.
The search for the perfect backdrop came by way of Damali Lavender & Winery, located in the Cobble Hill area of beautiful Vancouver Island. The fields of lavender were perfect for dreaming of florals that were garden inspired. The flowers were lush and pastel in colour including café roses with a handpicked feel.
Inspired by the French countryside, a romantic tablescape design was designed around a striking custom-made French blue tablecloth. Pale grey accents, subtle touches of purple were entwined with champagne and delicate clematis vine. Lustrous glass dinnerware pieces were added to enhance the look. Various tones of blue were then carried throughout the shoot to pop against the lavender, including a tufted teal chair and pale blue hand-died silk ribbon. A delicate floral printed menu and stylish invitation suite accented the décor perfectly.
