New Wedding Memories for Karen & Kevin – Every once in a while we have an extraordinary wedding story. Just as in real life, weddings can involve surprises, and not always good ones! So how did this story get a happy ending?
A wonderful Vancouver Island wedding team in Nanaimo was offering a photoshoot for a deserving couple and received many entries. The story of Kevin and Karen really stood out for disaster on their wedding day, but also because they were entered by an employee who couldn’t say enough about how they deserved a second chance.
Every once in a while we have an extraordinary wedding story!
Kevin & Karen carefully planned their special day to take place at the Coast Bastion in Nanaimo. As hair and makeup were being done Karen felt more and more ill. She had to be taken to the ceremony in a wheel chair and collapsed immediately afterwards. She was taken to hospital by ambulance as family worried. This couple asked their guests to celebrate for them through a wonderful reception that continued on through the evening. Karen and Kevin, however, were at the hospital where she spent the next week.
Thankfully, Karen recovered but there were no wedding photos of themselves looking happy and relaxed much less well! So this photo shoot was Kevin & Karen’s do over and we are so thrilled to share it with all of you. Hat’s off to the wedding pros that created the opportunity for a happy ending to this story!
