Sweetheart Wedding with Sophistication. Alex and Rachel had the whole of Vancouver as a backdrop to their big day, Skylines, beach views and architecture were all part of this couple’s fun, artsy and sophisticated nuptials. This wedding had it all!
We love the ‘peek a boo’ first look around the corner of two walls. Alex was honored to see his bride in a beautiful fitted gown with lace overlay and see through back. Rachel carried a gorgeous bouquet bursting with white and orange floral with eucalyptus. Loose curls around the face finished her perfect bridal style.
The groom and groomsman held their own sporting blue (for the groom) and grey suits topped with orange boutonnieres. Bridesmaids wore light grey pastel gowns pulling together the sophisticated look of this bridal party.
The ceremony, held at Brix + Mortar is spectacular. Guests line both sides of the aisle of this brick decor venue that is filled with atmosphere. A stunning floral chandelier, hung over the couple as they took their vows, almost stole the show. But, not quite, as the real stars were Rachel and Alex!
The reception mirrors the relaxed luxury of the day – floral design and decor in white and orange reflect the stunning venue (and it’s chandeliers!).
What really caught our eye with this wedding are the incredible cityscapes throughout the photos. And the fun that the couple and their friends are having through the entire day is infectious! Smiles, laughter and love pervade every shot. This Chinese Fusion Wedding hit all the right notes.
