Trend: DIY Intimate Forest Wedding and Backyard On The Lake Reception
The West Coast Wedding of Taylor & Sheldon on the Lake – Forest ceremonies are topping the list of intimate west coast wedding ceremony locations that couples are choosing for their nuptials. Why the forest? Instant backdrops, easy set up and a naturally beautiful look for photos.
Taylor & Sheldon held their forest ceremony and backyard lake reception near Shawnigan Lake on Vancouver Island. We love the DIY touches such as the hanging photos and loads of handmade tags. The best part of this wedding? We are sure you will agree that it is the bridal style cropped top and gauzy skirt! The hair jewellery is very detailed and beautiful and is a real mood for this bridal style.
The idea of a picnic tableau on the dock is really inspired. It is obvious that Taylor & Sheldon are relaxed and the photos reflect that. The muted colour tones are striking against the water backdrop and we love the shots that feature the bride staring into the groom’s eyes!
Equally impressive, though, are the amazingly relaxed and intimate shots. Each photo, from the dock picnic to the forest kisses – every one is perfection.
